On 26th March we were delighted to host an Inspire Her Girls Rugby project festival at the club. We saw over 40 girls in years 7 to 9 from local schools St Clement Danes, Rickmansworth, Joan of Arc and Reach Free attend an afternoon of rugby technique, drills and game play.

The event was run in conjunction with the Saracens Foundation who where possible had already run a couple of rugby sessions at the schools so the girls had a taster of what rugby has to offer. Isla Alejandro, Women and Girls Project Officer at Saracens said "The coaches were all delighted to work with Fullerians and bring such a great event to Fullerians for the Watford schools - we are looking forward to extending the next event further to schools in Hemel as well".

And, because the festival was such a success we have already booked the next date in the diary for 21st May!
