Hi and welcome to the Fullerians RFC U10’s web page

This Squad is for children who turn 10 years old on or after 1st September 2023 through to 31st August 2024. This means any boys or girls who are currently in Primary School Year 5 starting in September 2023.

We play under the RFU Age Grade Rugby rules for Under 10s, which are geared around full contact. This includes tackling 3 person scums and an introduction to rucking & mauling.

Fullerians minis section are passionate about what we do, but its not about winning matches at all costs. Our goal is to bring children into the wonderful world of Mini Rugby, and to allow them to experience the discipline, teamwork, fun and excitement . All of coaches are RFU qualified and DBS checked and each team has designated first aiders.

Some of the coaches have played at Fullers and have been part of the club for several years. All our coaches and admin have children in the U10’s age group and give up our time voluntarily. We do not stream our teams and we ensure that everyone has fun each week by getting fully involved.

We welcome new players and we are always looking for boys and girls to join our squad of players. As a new player you get chance to try three sessions before you commit to joining the club, after which you will have the choice to pay the annual membership for your child.

A gum shield will also be required for U10's rugby due to the additional areas of contact we experience in this age group

We normally train Sunday mornings starting at 9am and usually go through to 1030am. Through the season we will play friendly fixtures against other local clubs.
